The
Prehistoric period was followed by another phase of time line period
known as Ancient Historic Period. Ancient Historic period was the
period of time or the academic discipline which ancient history was a
collection of past events from the beginning of writing and recorded
human history that extended until the dawn of the Medieval Age. The
span of recorded history began with Sumerian Cuneiform script, which
was the oldest discovered form of coherent writing formed roughly
about 5300 years ago. Ancient History covers all continents inhabited
by human during between 3300 BC to 500 AD.
During
the time period of Ancient History, the
most significant fact ongoing through was the world population
started increasing exponentially due to the Neolithic Revolution. In
Prehistoric period, around 10,000 BC, the world population was up to
two million which was rising to 45 million by the Bronze Age around
3000 BC. But by the rise of Iron Age around 1200 BC, the population
had risen to 72 million. At last, by the end of Ancient Historic
period, the world population stood up to 209 million. And hence,
within 3500 years, the world population had increased by 100 times.
Ancient
Historic period was also
known as the Metal Age since the human beings during this period were
made different kinds of objects like vessels, tools, weapons, jewels
and even statues by using different metals and alloys mainly bronze
and iron. Hence the Ancient Historic period was divided into two
different ages and they are :-
