1. Introduction


The Prehistoric period was followed by another phase of time line period known as Ancient Historic Period. Ancient Historic period was the period of time or the academic discipline which ancient history was a collection of past events from the beginning of writing and recorded human history that extended until the dawn of the Medieval Age. The span of recorded history began with Sumerian Cuneiform script, which was the oldest discovered form of coherent writing formed roughly about 5300 years ago. Ancient History covers all continents inhabited by human during between 3300 BC to 500 AD.

During the time period of Ancient History, the most significant fact ongoing through was the world population started increasing exponentially due to the Neolithic Revolution. In Prehistoric period, around 10,000 BC, the world population was up to two million which was rising to 45 million by the Bronze Age around 3000 BC. But by the rise of Iron Age around 1200 BC, the population had risen to 72 million. At last, by the end of Ancient Historic period, the world population stood up to 209 million. And hence, within 3500 years, the world population had increased by 100 times.
Ancient Historic period was also known as the Metal Age since the human beings during this period were made different kinds of objects like vessels, tools, weapons, jewels and even statues by using different metals and alloys mainly bronze and iron. Hence the Ancient Historic period was divided into two different ages and they are :-
>> Bronze Age
>> Iron Age.
